Will Railways act against menu card corruption

There is still lot of nexus and corruption at play in railway staff selling above menu prices. Will railways please act See post below.

Today I was travelling from Duliajan to Dimapur by train no-13281(New Tinsukia Rajendranagar Patna express). My berth was in coach no B-2 and I was travelling with my family. On the way I bought two plates of egg briyani from the pantry car of the train. The seller charged Rs 80/- for each plate. I asked him that whether the price was as per the rate card of the pantry car? He said that it was as per the menu card. Tough I was not convinced, I paid him Rs 160/-. Later I went to the pantry van and asked for the menu card. With little hesitation one guy handed over the menu card to me and there I found that the actual price of one plate egg biriyani is Rs 63/- instead of Rs 80/-. Then I raised my voice. Finally they agreed to return the extra amount that they have charged for food items to other co-passengers too. Today, I took a very small step to prevent corruption. I urge everyone not to ignore and not to become a silent observer for any kind of corruption around you. Plz act against it. It is always better to contribute than complain.

I too had similar experience while morning Breakfast was served, I wanted only Uppama (not uppama Vada), he did not agree, I went all the way to canteen and bought UPPAMA Only , Tea is suppose to be served as 80 ml, he served approx. 60ml, without saying anything, I took video in front of canteen In charge, immediately he gave me correct quantity and also told him that I am in S-7 and do not want any such thing to happen. People need to raise, there are people to support You more
We must fight against corruption otherwise Aam Janta will suffer and Govt servants will enjoy life. After a long wait, we got a clean govt who is willing to fight corruption more
Rasied voice against your own right specially in railway is big crime! You are lucky one, otherwise you may traped by staff and became victim. If you want to stay without any clash in this country! You must shut you voice about ur right. We are just about to bear oppression, nothing else. more
Thanks to Mr Rohit for raising voice. Many more may follow you. Good job. more
It is high time to demand the railways authorities to see that the price must ne printed on the dish they are supplying. Also they must carry the menu card along with them. Though small thing in case of coffee / tea they give half of the cup. Even after asking some people just ignore some act properly. even price they charge 10 rs, instead of 7 rs. This is about a common and most frequently sold item. more
