Indian Railways Catering

I use to carry packed food even in Shatabdi Express and never take the food. The quality of the food in any train is horrible. and do not know about hygiene. Can we have the option of not paying for food in Shatabdi Express and wish Railway makes it as an optional. thse who do not want they can carry and need not pay the amount with ticket??

OVERALL IT IS SEEN THAT THE QUALITY OF FOOD SUPPLIED IN RUNNING TRAINS IS MOSTLY BAD AND RAILWAY ADMINISTRATION WILL HAVE TO TAKE A SERIOUS VIEW IN THIS REGARD BY HIGHER AUTHORITIES THEMSELVES WHO SHOULD CHECK THE FOOD BY TASTING IT ON RUNNING TRAIN RANDOMLY.

worst food supplied in Indian trains even in Rajdhani Also food is not eatable.

In the train they supply stale food.

Trains which do not have pantry , there should options to buy tea/coffee/snacks etc.
Ecatering is limited to few stations and choices.
